Crisis.

Wearing: Vero Moda shirt dress from ASOS, Jeffrey Campbell loafers, Beginning Boutique cuff, Lovisa choker, American Apparel neon nailpolish

I'm experiencing a mini "quarter-life crisis" at the moment. I've been going for a couple of job interviews and it's just depressing to know now that uni is over, I will succumb to being a slave to the 8:30am-5pm work regime just like everybody else. Goodbye life. Along with some other issues, I really need to find the path to true happiness.

  2. Nah...joining to the 9to5 ranks isn't so bad...you now earn income and can buy whatever it is that you fancy :) Thank you for stopping by!

  3. The first shot is divine. Love the fit of your shirt dress
and I can relate to your mini quarter life crisis. I think just search for something that you really love to do, whether it be your 8-5 job, or a side task or hobby.. finding something you enjoy doing whilst living the mandatory part of your life should make one happy, I would hope.

  4. Love your outfit! Especially the texture of your shoes and the silver cuff ♥
Entering the workforce sounds like no fun... but at least you'll be able to make your own living! Which seems like the only positive thing that comes from graduating.

Don't be sad about starting full-time work! If you enjoy what you do it's not so bad, and be sure to plan fun things to do on weeknights so you don't feel too much like you're living for the weekend :)

  12. I'm at that stage too... just think of the money, and remember everyone else will eventually be doing the same thing so it won't make a difference.

  14. Eurgh I went through the same thing when I finished uni... I eased myself into it by working part-time at first. Full-time work was a killer, still hate it hence I'm going back to uni :P

I LOVE that shirt dress on you!

  15. Okay, first things first. Getting a day job, does NOT mean your life is over. I can understand that the QLC is hitting you hard right now, but hang in there.

It took me a while, but I found a job I love. And work does not seem like a task. I am sure you will snap out of this frame of mind soon. You are such a fabulous, Diva.

Have a wonderful week ahead. Life isn't so bad. Not with that gorgeous cuff on you :P

    Hugs,

after working for years in a job I hated, the key is def to find something you love doing... work is still work, but it really does help when you're doing something that you're passionate about. and life is what you make it anyway ;)
