(Karen Walker sunglasses, Ksubi pendant, Zimmermann bikini, Romwe blouse and shorts)The weather has literally turned from freezing cold to hot in a matter of days. Looks like Mother Nature has decided to skip the Spring season altogether and go straight to Summer, but I'm not complaining. So I did what any Summer-loving person would do, and head to the beach with friends. Glad I wore this light, long-sleeved blouse because the wind was unforgiving! Our towels would be covered in sand in about 10 minutes. Retreating to Max Brenner saved the day :)

(Maurie & Eve dress, ASOS booties, Alexander Wang bag, Lovisa choker, Secret Weapons seamless undergarments, Maniamania ring)Firstly, sorry I've been M.I.A lately! I've got 4 major uni assignments due in the next 2 weeks and then on top of that, I've actually scored a job as the fashion blogger/columnist for Brisbane Times! So now I have 3 blogs to maintain + uni work + my casual retail job + attending fashion events for Brisbane Times (that's definitely a perk though!). To be honest it's quite overwhelming, so my time management skills are really being tested. So the first event that I've attended for BT was Identity: An International Fashion Affair hosted by Treasury Casino. In essence, it's a small, pop-up runway show showcasing prestigious international and Australian designers such as Bally, FrockShop, Samantha Ogilvie, Dogstar, Anu and Mitchell Ogilvie to name a few. It was a great night filled with yummy nibbles, Moet Chandon and fantastic fashion. This is just what I wore to the event. I will post more photos very soon!!
PS- I feel really bad for not having the time to comment properly on anyone's blogs so please say hi on Twitter!xx

(sister's Cotton On blazer, Sosume shirt, gifted necklace from Beginning Boutique, Maniamania & Pamela Love rings, Alexander Wang bag, Cheap Monday jeans, ASOS booties)I was really inspired by Nicole's colour blocking from her NZFW escapades that I attempted some colour blocking of my own. I can safely say that I have never worn an outfit like this before. I'm immediately drawn to anything black.. it's just what I'm comfortable in, but I guess today I tried something out of my comfort zone. Personally, I'm not even sure if I'm a fan of it. I've got to stop posting in this shirt! Woops. These are pretty much the only coloured clothing items that I own hahaha. How fail. Probably a good excuse to go shopping, even though I just did some damage on this new Maniamania immortals ring that I'm obsessed with.
Also I'm in Week 8 of uni atm (there are 13 weeks per semester) and I have 4 major assignments + 1 exam to do in the next 3 weeks, so posting may be quite limited for a while, sorry!

(Chronicles of Never shirt, suede jacket & jeans, Stolen Girlfriends Club pendant, Deadly Ponies satchel bag)
Really digging this outfit that Elliot wore a few days ago. The colours somehow worked together.. probably because more than half of his outfit was from Chronicles of Never haha. Even though the guys who work there are pretentious douchebags, their stock and clearance sales are too l3g1t 2 qu1T.

(Bec & Bridge sweater, Ksubi pendant, Therese Rawsthorne shorts, MarketHQ tote)
Totally loving that I got this sweater on sale for 50% off, but really not digging that because it's made of pure wool, the fluff from the sweater is getting stuck everywhere - on my car seat, shorts, bag, in my hair and especially in my nose when I breathe... rofl.

(Joshua Hall helix cuff, Sosume collared shirt, Gary Bigeni cropped sweater, gifted necklace from Beginning Boutique, Cheap Monday jeans, motorcycle boots from Romwe)
Just a casual outfit that I wore to uni the other day. I'm beyond happy that it's now SPRING!! For the first time in ages I actually sweated like 0.00000001mL walking to uni. Soon I'll be saying goodbye to sweaters and the whole frumpy look in general and happily welcoming tiny shorts and sleeveless tops alike. Who's ready to see my ass cheeks hang out of my denim shorts??? Okay maybe I won't post that on here, not that I even have a pair of those, but perhaps my Twitter followers might be so lucky HAHAhaha....
PS- A big thank you to Beginning Boutique for the gifted 'Pamela Love-esque' skull necklace. Love it! xox

I have some exciting news! I applied to be a fashion blogger for the Brisbane Times news website, and I got the job! I'm beyond surprised and humbled that they would choose me. This now means that I have 3 blogs to manage- this one, The Front Row and my little section on the Brisbane Times website, which gets launched officially on the 12th of September. It's going to be a challenge maintaining 3 blogs + finishing my last semester of uni but somehow I will manage.. I hope. I've already bought myself a little gift to congratulate myself LOL any excuse to go shopping really!
