This is literally my number one go-to outfit for summer if I can't be bothered compiling anything too fancy. A big thank you to Assiere for these tights. They actually neatly replace my lost Lonely Hearts leggings which look extremely similar and despite the holes, were surprisingly warm :)

White lily.

Wearing: Amy Kaehne 'love street' pants and top, Peeptoe shoes

There's nothing like a crisp, white, top and pants combo like this one from Amy Kaehne. I can't really explain the delicateness of this detailing, so I think it's something you'll have to experience for yourself. Brisbane winters are quite random in that we get really cold, then really warm days which is perfect for me because evidently (as seen above) I've shifted onto spring attire. These Peeptoe shoes also come in a white/silver variant, but I think the black anchors this look nicer than what the white would.

The Diva's Wardrobe.

This Sunday the 29th of July at Cloudland I'll be one of 26 'divas' who will be selling their second-hand wardrobe treasures. If you're in Brisbane, come along at 11am to score some seriously good designer bargains from ladies who go through designer clothing like plants recycle air. I'm sharing a stall with Chloe from Social Emissions so I think between us two, we'll have a decent offering too! (Yes, I'm selling the above).

New setup.

I find this anatomical heart candle from Beginning Boutique really intriguing for some reason.
1. New beauty setup of what used to be a row of novels and a fan. The magazine editorials are substituting for a future mirror at the moment.
2. My favourite rings from Pamela Love, Maniamania and YSL and a Chanel brush set which was a gift.
3. Various Shopbop receipts (obsessed with that store) and a cupcake jewellery holder.
4. Acne accessory hanging on my Beginning Boutique anatomical heart candle.
5. My three most worn necklaces by Ksubi, Pamela Love and Tiffany & Co with other assorted jewellery.

Sydney weekend.

Last Friday I was lucky enough to be flown down to Sydney for a work anniversary party along with an internal awards night which only lasted the one day, so I extended my trip and spent the rest of the weekend exploring and shopping in Sydney. On Saturday, I finally met Lauren from Your Only Black Swan who is the loveliest girl ever and is now my new bff. Also had the pleasure of meeting Darren from Boy Moments whom I clicked with straight away too. They took me to Incu, Zara, Désordre (a store I've wanted to visit for ages) and then Guylian Chocolate Cafe after dinner at The Winery. I can't believe Sydney has multiple Guylian and Lindt cafes when Brisbane has nothing! Anyways, that's all we had time for because I met up with them in the late afternoon after a huge night out as you can imagine... It was like the movie 'The Hangover' crazy - as in a call was made to head office the next morning to see if a co-worker was trapped in the fire escape as she never made it back to the hotel we were staying at.

On Sunday before my flight home I explored Paddington and surprisingly didn't even buy anything. I would've bought an Ellery t-shirt but just couldn't justify spending $110 on a plain t-shirt. Not so much about the price, but the fact that I have like 20 t-shirts. More outfit snaps coming.

Lovers in Japan.

Wearing: Friedrich Gray top, Sass and Bide bralet, Ksubi pendant, Ellery skirt, UNIF trench coat from MarketHQ and Jeffrey Campbell litas.

There's nothing like a casual trench coat that you can just throw over yourself to take an outfit from cold to warm/day to night. One day I'll own a ridiculously overpriced classic trench by either Burberry Prorsum, Ralph Lauren or Yves Saint Laurent, but this one will definitely do in the meantime.

I ended up having to buy these shorts from my desk at work because I didn't complete checkout the night before. It was quite amusing hearing the boys at work exclaim, "Wtf, you wear those out of the house!?" and "Are those pyjamas?" which was then followed by- "You've got to wear them to work when they arrive okay?" Good times. As for why I bought these? I have no idea.
